B&H has put together this AX1 Pixel Tube 4-Light Kit to offer a versatile lighting setup for your in studio or on location productions. The kit includes four battery-powered 3.4' RGB tubes, each with accessories for support, mounting, and charging. A soft carry bag is provided for convenient storage and transport.Control You can use an Astera ARC1 infrared remote control (not included); simply point it at individual lights to set the desired effect.The downloadable AsteraApp is an efficient way to quickly create a customized light show using your device. It can group several lights together, address individual lights or groups of lights, and send complex effects with a user-defined color palette to all lights in range. Please note the AsteraBox (not included) is required to control the light fixture through the app. You can also use the Astera ARC2 remote control (not included).The light can also be controlled by CRMX wireless DMX, as the built-in receiver is compatible with all LumenRadio CRMX transmitters as well as W-DMX G2, G3, G4, and G4S transmitters, although G4 and G4S are only supported in 2.4 GHz mode.You can also use an Astera ART3 Wireless DMX Transmitter to send DMX in the UHF frequency band, although CRMX is the recommended method.Wireless Modules 865 to 870 MHz 902 to 928 MHz 2.4 GHzTruColor Calibration 100% color consistency through any batch. It can hit exact color temperatures and reproduce standard filter gels.Seamless Runtime Set the length of your event and be sure that your lights won't run out while still getting the maximum brightness.Talkback + Detect all available lights, set them up, check their status, and configure DMX addresses and DMX profiles.Flicker Free Filming Scrambled PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology is used to prevent flickering when filming the lights.Scheduled Standby Mode You can switch the Astera AX1 into standby mode to save power and schedule it to wake up when the event starts.DJ Application Auto BPM analyzes the beat and matches programs to it; flash buttons can trigger special effects.Dynamic Power Boost The dynamic power-boost feature enables the light to display the maximum brightness at all times and intensify non-white colors.Dimmer Curve You can set the fixture's dimming response depending on the application you are using the light for: Fast: For pixel mapping and similar applications, it provides a totally unfiltered response.Standard: Good compromise between response and smoothness for most applications.Halogen: When slow and smooth dimming is required, it emulates the characteristics of a halogen light.Theater: It provides a very smooth response and increased dynamics, although some colors are darker in this mode.TV: For broadcast and other shows, the dimming response is faster but still smooth dimming. Although this mode produces less blue light due to its fixed white point of 6500K, it also provides increased dynamics, with some colors being darker.
