Apex Optics

Made in Japan with double extra-low dispersion glass lenses and Abbe-Koening roof prisms for a bright, clear image, the 15x56 Summit ED2 Binoculars from Apex Optics were designed to meet the needs of hunters and shooters. They come with standard threads for tripod adapters, which will be necessary to prevent the image shake that occurs with such high magnification. The tough but lightweight magnesium alloy chassis is covered in textured rubber armoring for a secure grip and the optical tubes are purged with argon for fog-resistant performance. Seven layers of HTX antireflective lens coating plus phase and dielectric coatings on the BAK4 roof prisms ensure optimal light transmission with high contrast and true colors. Summit ED2s are dust and waterproof to IP67 standards.Optical Performance BAK4 Abbe-Koenig roof prisms with phase and dielectric coatingsDouble extra-low dispersion glass lenses offer clear and crisp images with little distortion and true color renditionSeven layers of antireflection coating improve light transmission, color rendition, and contrast235' field of view at 1000 yards6.6' close focus distanceUse and Handling Closed-bridge configurationRight-eye dioptric correction2.2-2.9" interpupillary adjustment rangeEasily install optional tripod adapterConstruction Details Lightweight and durable magnesium chassisArgon-filled for fog-resistant performanceRated IP67 dust and waterproof
