Support your RED V-RAPTOR cinema camera on your rig using the separately available LeftField Quick Release Baseplate with this Manfrotto Riser Kit from Bright Tangerine. The kit includes a Manfrotto riser and a Manfrotto 501PL-style dovetail plate. Both components are made from durable aluminum. The riser is compatible with the separately available LeftField 15mm LWS baseplate and allows you to mount the V-RAPTOR, ensuring your camera is at the proper 15mm LWS height when mounted onto a gimbal system. The included dovetail plate features rubber padding and extra-wide "wings" to ensure the camera is secure and balanced. It mounts onto the quick release mechanism and secures with a safety lock.Compatibility The dovetail mounts onto a camera of your choice and lets you quickly switch between the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate with the Manfrotto riser, handheld, and other compatible receivers and accessories. It uses the Manfrotto 501PL standard, allowing it to be loaded directly onto compatible receivers and gimbals without needing to change camera plates. The extra length provides ample room for balancing and adjustment.Flexible Mounting Using the three captive screws on the captive shuttle, the camera can be securely mounted with no twisting or movement. The channel allows the camera to be balanced on the plate. The extra-wide platform provides added stability and removes flexing.Accessory Support Lens adapters can be secured using the front channel and supplied screws.Balance Markings Laser-etched markers along the length of the dovetail let ACs mark down balanced positions on the gimbal.Durable Construction Machined and hand-finished from high-grade materials, it is hard-anodized for extended durability.
