The Battery Grip for Sony a9 III and a1 II from Vello offers extended shooting time and comfort when shooting in a portrait orientation with the Sony a9 III and a1 II mirrorless cameras. It features an alternate shutter release button, AF-ON and AEL buttons, three custom buttons, a multi-selector, front and rear dials, and a third dial that's lockable. This makes the grip ideal for shooting portrait photography. The BG-S9 also includes a convenient control-lock switch to prevent accidentally triggering the grip's controls.The two-bay battery tray accepts up to two Sony NP-FZ100-type rechargeable batteries for extended runtime without having to stop and change batteries.
