Kowa

For those that want the ultimate in observing capacities at magnifications suitable for serious birding or even comet hunting, Kowa offers the flagship powerhouse binoculars known as the High Landers. As great as the premium European and Japanese models of spotting binoculars have become, they are still perennially limited by the fact that they only let you observe with one eye instead of two. You've got two eyes, and this is of course the most comfortable way to observe anything at a high magnification, providing dimensionality to the subject that cannot be duplicated with one eye.Other benefits to the High Lander design include wider viewing angles for the given magnifications versus a spotting scope with similar magnification.None All air-to-glass surfaces are fully multicoatedNone 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 tripod/head/bracket mounting threadsNone Two 450mm f/5.48 apochromatic telescopes with flourite glass for the ultimate in resolutionNone Individual eyepiece focusingNone Nitrogen purged waterproof & fogproof performance in all climatesNone Large sliding lens shades keep out stray light and precipitation from the objective lensesNone Optional 21x & 50x eyepiecesNone Accepts 95mm filters
