This Stage Ninja 340 Pivot Base for Performance Series Reels is recommended for situations in which you may be pulling cable at greater than a 45 angle to the reel, as the base can pivot up to 340 , thus reducing strain and abrasion as you pull cable. For the pivot base to work properly, it must be mounted on a level surface, whether on the floor, a work bench, or the ceiling.
