Designed and manufactured by hand in the USA, the Evno BSX1-W1 Wireless Single-Microphone System for Bassoon is built specifically for the acoustic needs of the bassoon and engineered to capture the natural, uncolored sound of the instrument while maximizing gain before feedback. Its single-microphone design is optimized for clarity, tone preservation, and ease of use in a variety of performance situations.Precise Mounting and Flexible Positioning The BSX1 can be mounted over the top of the bell joint or around the strap ring, with flexible positioning to suit personal preferences. The included BSX-CL clamp allows for secure attachment to the bell or boot joint, and positions the mic at the ideal axis point without twist or slippage using a padded hook-and-loop strap and thumbscrew. A lightweight 5.5" gooseneck holds position firmly while remaining discreet and easy to adjust.Flagship Wireless Performance with True Diversity At the heart of the BSX1-W1 is the Evno W1 True-Diversity System, providing maximum wireless stability and long-range performance up to 492 feet. Using two antennas and dual receivers, the system automatically selects the strongest signal for seamless audio without dropouts. Ideal for professional musicians and demanding stage environments, the W1 ensures your instrument sounds natural and full-range across any performance scenario.Built for Professional Rigs The W1 receiver features a metal chassis with XLR and 1/4" outputs and comes rack-mountable with included rack kit and extension cables. Antennas can be front- or remotely mounted via BNC connectors, making it easy to integrate into any rack setup. The A1 transmitter clips directly to the microphone setup for a beltpack-free, wire-free playing experience. 99 selectable frequencies allow multiple systems to run simultaneously without interference, with quick pairing via IR sync.Adaptable for Any Setup The BSX1 mic terminates in a 3-pin mini-XLR that can be used with Evno, Shure, AKG, and Sennheiser systems (third-party compatible cables available separately). For wired use, simply pair with the separately available PS95 preamp.
