The CAMVATE Threaded Cheese Baseplate can be set up in many different ways with various accessories. It provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes along the center, and it features 1/4"-20 pass-through holes on the ends. One way it can be set up is mounted on two optional 15mm LWS rod clamps on the ends so that it functions as a baseplate for compact cameras. Another way is to attach a rod clamp on top, in which case the plate can be used as a tripod plate. These are just two examples, but overall, various setups are possible with different optional accessories.
