With Camden's award-winning preamp that features Mojo analog saturation on tap in three distinct flavors (Thump for transformer-style saturation, Cream for tube-style saturation, and True Bypass for pristine transparency), you can dial in any tone you want on mics, line-level signals, and Hi-Z instruments.The audio performance of the EC1 approaches the theoretical limits of analog audio technology with extraordinarily low noise and distortion and incredible phase and frequency linearity across all available gain settings. The powerful headphone amp features two discrete mixers with independent level controls. You get balanced XLR and impedance-matched balanced and unbalanced 1/4" I/O for handling any studio setup or signal chain. The external high-current power supply provides a larger-than-average 24V of power for high-performance operation and sports a latching connector for reliability.
