Vortex

Powerful enough to observe distant objects and featuring a generous objective lens for a bright image, the 10x42 Crossfire HD Binoculars from Vortex are a solid choice for an all-around optic. Their 6' close-focus distance is ideal for watching nearby birds, animals or insects. They come with a Vortex GlassPak harness for comfortable use during hours of observation. The Crossfire HD delivers views with minimal chromatic aberration, exceptional color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness, and optimal light transmission through the use of high-definition glass, an index-matched lens configuration, an XR Plus anti-reflective coating, and phase-correcting roof prisms. The housing is nitrogen-filled for fog and waterproof performance, and rubber armored for a non-slip grip. The short bridge provides plenty of space for your hands, and the large focusing knob is easy to use, even while wearing gloves. Twist-down eyecups accommodate users who wear glasses. For hands-free use and the steadiest view, the Crossfire HD can be mounted on a tripod using the separately sold tripod adapter.Optical Performance 10x magnification42mm objective lensesFully multi-coated lenses increase transmission, clarity, and brightnessPhase-correcting roof prisms improve true color, contrast, and transmission6.2 angle of view325' linear field of view at 1000 yardsBirding-friendly 6' close focus distanceExit pupil: 4.2mmEye Relief: 15mmUse and Handling Short-hinge bridge cuts weight and exposes more surface for handlingRoof prism design for slim form factorAdjustable interpupillary distance: 58-75mmOversized knurled center focusing wheelTextured diopter ring on right eyepieceTwist-up soft tapered rubber eyecupsConstruction Details GlassPak binoculars harness with zippered accessory pocketProtective rubber armor provides a slip-resistant gripNitrogen-filled, fog and waterproof
