Mount a number or accessories onto devices with the Universal Battery Plate from CineMilled. The mount provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes and mounting ears on the sides and bottom of the plate, allowing you to position the mount either vertically or horizontally. With the battery plate's smaller threads, you can screw on CineMilled's optional Gold mount studs or connect to a V-mount to enable you to use batteries as counterweights while powering your camera and accessories. The plate is designed to mount onto the R2 power block, allowing you to use R2 batteries to power your camera or accessories when you are not using a gimbal. The plate includes hardware and a bracket to fit CineMilled's MOVI Pro pan counterweight mount, and it can also mount on the Ronin 2 pan counterweight mount in three different positions. Another use of the optional Gold mount studs and the R2 power block attached is for R2/Steadicam mode. The best configuration for the R2/Steadicam mode is to move the R2 power block and batteries to the bottom of your Steadicam sled, and the battery plate allows you to securely mount the R2 power block onto your sled. Keeping the weight on the bottom of your sled allows you to properly counterbalance the camera weight up top.
