Description
The Aten CS1716I 16-Port PS/2-USB KVM Over IP Switch is an IP-based KVM control unit that allows both local and remote operators to monitor and access multiple computers. Remote users access the switches over the Internet by means of a web browser using TCP/IP for its remote communications protocol. The CS1716I supports up to 32 concurrent user logins for single-bus computer access. A built-in message board feature lets you communicate with each other. The ability to exchange information in real time allows you to cooperatively manage the installation in a smooth and efficient manner. Its panel array mode provides the ability to simultaneously monitor up to 16 servers per switch, while the mouse DynaSync feature automatically synchronizes the local and remote mouse pointer movements for perfect alignment regardless of what the mouse acceleration settings on the server are. The CS1716I supports 128 bit SSL encryption for the browser and RC4 128 bit encryption for secure keyboard, mouse, and video data transmission. The CS1716I also supports authentication and authorization via remote servers, such as RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS, and MS Active Directory.None Convenient computer selection via front panel pushbuttons, hotkeys, and multilingual on-screen display (OSD) menusNone Up to 32 concurrent loginsNone Multilanguage web UI support featuring a tree-structured local and remote OSDNone Adjustable video quality for flexible adaptation to diverse network environmentsNone Auto scan feature for monitoring user-selected computersNone Broadcast mode; operations simultaneously performed on all selected computers (software installation, system-wide shutdown, etc.)None Firmware upgradableNone Backup and restore configuration and user account settingsNone Event loggingNone Enable/disable browser accessNone IPv6 capableNone Browser-based and AP GUIs, and a menu-driven OSD for the local consoleNone Multiplatform client support (windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Sun)None Multibrowser support (IE, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Netscape)None Port names automatically reconfigured when station sequence is changedNone Panel array mode enables you to monitor multiple servers from single screen at the same time - each selected server's video output appears in a separate panelNone Windows client and Java client software support; Java client works with all operating systemsNone Secure keyboard/mouse/video transmission via RC4 128 bit encryptionNone Supports SSL 128 bit data encryption and RSA 1024 bit certificates for secure user logins from a browserNone Two level password security - up to 64 user accounts with separate profiles for eachNone External (remote) authentication support: RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS, MS Active DirectoryNone Support for IP/MAC FilterNone Local and remote access logged and authenticatedNone Resizable remote desktop windowNone Message board allows logged in users to communicate with each other, and allows a user to take exclusive control of the KVM functionsNone Mouse DynaSyncNone On-screen keyboard with multilanguage supportNone BIOS-level accessNone 16-port remote access KVM switch - monitor and control up to 16 computers from a single KVM consoleNone Daisy chain up to 15 compatible additional units - control up to 256 computers from a single consoleNone Auto-sensing of station's position on daisy chained installations; no need for manual dip switch setting; front panel LED indicates station's positionNone Hot pluggable - add or remove computers without having to power down the switchNone Multiplatform support - Windows, Linux, Mac, and SunNone Front panel USB hub allows connected computers to access USB peripheralsNone Dual interface - supports PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse computer connections with automatic interface detectionNone USB / PS/2 keyboard and mouse emulation - computers boot even when the console focus is elsewhereNone Supports USB keyboards for Windows, Mac and SunNone Superior video quality - up to 2048 x 1536; DDC2B for the
