D2MKII

Golden Age Project

The D2 MKII Large Dynamic Microphone by Golden Age Project is a versatile take on a popular studio mic designed for a variety of applications, but shines for broadcast/podcast/streaming applications thanks to its large dynamic capsule and full-bodied sound. Featuring a highly directional, cardioid design and three switches for tailoring the EQ response to your liking, the D2 is well suited for use with speech and vocals, as well as instruments. The three EQ switches offer two different bass roll-off filters and one filter for lowering the response in a broad range centered on 5 kHz. An internal windscreen can help mitigate the need for pop filters and the included 5/8" thread adapter is compatible with different stand gauges, or can be removed altogether. With a rugged metal body and flexible design features, the D2 MKII dynamic microphone is a great choice for any voice-centric audio application as well as a supplementary tool in any home or studio mic locker.Key Features Designed for recording, live sound, broadcast, podcast, and streamingLarge dynamic diaphragm with cardioid polar pattern for rejection of unwanted soundThree roll-off filter switches for EQ adjustmentFrequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHzInput sensitivity of -52 dBBuilt-in metal mesh windscreenIncluded 5/8" thread adapter for mounting on mic standRugged metal body
