Das Keyboard

The Das Keyboard 4 Professional Mechanical Keyboard comes with 104 keys with Cherry MX Brown mechanical key switches and gold contacts, for a soft tactile feel when typing. The keys are laser-etched and designed to last up to 50 million keystrokes. It supports NKRO and has an anodized aluminum top panel. This keyboard has a dedicated media control with oversized volume knob as well as a two-port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed hub for charging gadgets and transferring data at up to 5 Gbps. An instant sleep button helps save energy. The keyboard's footbar, which is used to raise the keyboard, also functions as a ruler.Cherry MX Brown Mechanical keyboards utilize a different type of key switch technology for a more durable and unique typing experience. The Cherry MX Brown switch has an actuation force of 45g and offers a small tactile bump when pressed, letting you know that the key has registered. This can be useful for typing or preparing for a movement while gaming. Unlike Cherry MX Blue switches, these do not have an audible "click" mechanism, allowing for a quieter operation. Noise generated from this keyboard will be from the key either springing back into place or "bottoming out" making contact with the back plate after a particularly hard press.None Dedicated media control with oversized volume knobNone 2-port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed hub with speeds up to 5 Gb/sNone Instant sleep button to save energyNone Laser etched key inscriptionsNone 104-key US layoutNone Footbar to raise keyboard also functions as a rulerNone 6.5' USB cable with single USB type-A connectorNone NKRO over USB for faster gaming and programmingNone Anodized aluminum top panelNone Firmware updateable
