DESERT ISLAND SET MK 22

Schoeps

The matte-gray Schoeps Desert Island Stereo Set with MK 22 Capsules is a versatile microphone kit designed for capturing high-quality stereo recordings. It includes two CMC 1U miniature Colette microphone preamps, two MK 22 open-cardioid matched capsules (with their matching certificate), and two SG20 stand clamps, all packaged in an ultracompact Peli hard case for protection. The set is particularly useful for field-recording applications due to its portability and rugged build. The MK 22 capsule is popular for use as a spot or soloist's microphone, as the mid microphone for M/S, or as a main microphone pair. Its open-cardioid polar pattern offers the optimal combination of directionality (MK 4 cardioid) and warm sound characteristics (MK 22 wide cardioid). The highly consistent frequency response leads to natural sound quality.None Complete alternative to the renowned CMC 6 amplifierCan be used in place of the CMC 6 with no compromiseXLR output connectorElectrical characteristics of the CMC 1 U are equal to, or even better than, those of the CMC 61.4" long (about a third the size of the CMC 6)1.3 ounces (about 40% lighter than the CMC 6)Fully compatible with all existing MK capsules and Colette active accessories such as the CUT 60 and RC tubesVery high immunity from RF interference with the Schoeps RFI ShieldIncludes mic clip for easy attachment to a mic standSuspension mounts such as the Rycote INV-6 are available separately
