As part of their Afocal Digital Projection (ADP) System, the Alpine Astronomical Baader DT-Adapter II provides the means to mount your Hyperion-series eyepiece onto the ADPS base for afocal astrophotography while adding the minimum amount of optical distance possible. One side has standard female T-2 threads that fit onto the end of the ADPS base, while the other side has female SP54 threads that will allow you to directly connect it to the threads located under the eyecup of your Hyperion eyepiece. Since the adapter is outfitted with standard T-2 threads, you can also use it with other T-2 accessories and T-rings and directly connect your camera to the Hyperion for eyepiece projection techniques. This adapter is required for incorporating your Hyperion into the ADP System.
