Vixen Optics

This Vixen Optics Focal Reducer is purpose-built to speed up the focal ratio of the VSD100 Astrograph 0.79x from 380mm f/3.8 to an even faster 300mm f/3.0. It has a 3-element/3-group optical design with extra low-dispersion (ED) glass for excellent color rendition and enhanced contrast. Efficient anti-reflection optical coatings boost light transmission to over 99% to improve overall image brightness and sharpness. The focal reducer has 58mm threads for use with filters, and is ideal for use with full-frame, 35mm-equivalent DSLRs.
