Vixen Optics

The Vixen Optics Mobile Porta Mount without Tripod is an alt-azimuth mount which is used to support and rotate an instrument on a two perpendicular axes - one vertical and the other horizontal. Rotation about the vertical axis varies the azimuth (compass bearing) of the pointing direction of the instrument. Rotation with the horizontal axis varies the altitude angle of the pointing direction.
