Electro-Voice

The Tour X Series 500W 18" Subwoofer from Electro-Voice offers pro-quality bass reinforcement, and is suitable for use with the TX1122 and TX1152 full-range loudspeakers. This subwoofer is optimized for portable and fixed installation applications, such as clubs, professional studios, and concerts. It uses a high-excursion EVS-18S low-frequency transducer to ensure plenty of impact with ultralow distortion. It has 500W of continuous (2,000W peak) output power for strong, thumping bass. The subwoofer can be connected in parallel with a full-range speaker without the need for an additional amplifier and processor, thanks to a built-in low-pass filter. The braced plywood and MDF enclosure is coated with EVCoat for maximum protection from the elements.None Tour-class performance in a portable packageNone High-power LF supplement to the TX1122 and TX1152 loudspeakersNone High-excursion 18" EVS-18S wooferNone 6 dB/octave low-pass filter for parallel connection without added ampNone 500W continuous and 2000W peak power handlingNone Top-side socket for speaker poleNone Six mount points for optional wheel kitNone Braced plywood and MDF enclosure with black EVCoat finishNone Dual NL4 input connectorsNone Multi-grip handlesNone 16-gauge steel backbone design grilles with rotatable logos
