The Sony F-720 is a handheld unidirectional microphone offering a frequency response tailored for smooth reproduction of vocals and speech in concert venues, lectures, houses of worship, and presentations. Its dynamic element requires no power source and delivers a frequency response of 50 Hz to 13 kHz. The unidirectional polar pattern rejects sound behind the mic, yielding enhanced immunity to feedback and decreased pickup of room ambience.p/An internal capsule shockmount minimizes handling noise and vibration while the wire mesh grille protects the capsule. An on/off switch is provided for convenient muting of the mic between speeches or performances. The XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps and mixer inputs. The F-720 ships with a microphone holder and stand adapters for easy attachment to a mic stand (available separately).
