Description
The For.A FA-9600 Type 3G Multipurpose AV Signal Processor is an adaptable multi-format signal processor engineered for HD broadcast environments requiring precise synchronization, conversion, and color management. Supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps, the FA-9600 features one HDMI and two 3G-SDI (BNC) inputs with corresponding outputs, including one HDMI and four 3G-SDI (BNC). The processor supports a range of synchronization modes, including frame, line, and AVDL, and provides timecode generation, multiplexing, and offset functions for streamlined timing control. A built-in RGB color corrector, HDR/WCG processing, and 1D/3D LUT support ensure accurate image reproduction and color matching across workflows.Designed for flexibility, the FA-9600 includes five expansion slots compatible with a variety of optional modules to expand 3G-SDI inputs and outputs or upgrade functionality. Its integrated FA-96UDC software delivers comprehensive up, down, and cross conversion between SD, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p formats, with support for 3G-SDI Level A/B mapping. The integrated front-panel LCD provides real-time status monitoring and immediate operational access without external control systems. Power supply redundancy, Ethernet-based remote control, and modular compatibility make the FA-9600 a robust solution for live production studios.Inputs and Outputs Two 3G-SDI AV inputs and four 3G-SDI AV outputs via BNC connectorsOne HDMI input and one HDMI output for local AV transmission16 synchronous/asynchronous SDI audio channels via four BNC connectorsOne RJ45 port with 100BASE-T Ethernet for control and system integrationSynchronization and Conversion Frame, line, AVDL, and minimum delay synchronization modesGenlock loop-through via BNC for black burst and tri-level syncFA-96UDC software for up, down, and cross conversion between SD, 720p, and 1080p/i formatsAspect ratio adjustment, repositioning, frame rate conversion, and SDR/HDR conversionTimecode multiplexing, generation, and offset adjustment with SDI and LTC source supportImage and Color Processing RGB mode sets white level, black level, and gamma by separately adjusting R, G, and BDifferential mode sets color in R-Y, G-Y, and B-Y space without changing white balanceHDR/WCG processing with support for HLG, PQ, S-Log3, and Canon Log formatsSupports 1D and 3D LUTs for color space conversion and dynamic range changesUsability and Design Five expansion card module slots for additional inputs, outputs, and performance upgradesIntegrated front-panel LCD with input monitoring and color-coded adjustment knobsAccepts 100 to 240 VAC power at 50 or 60 Hz and includes dual power supplies for redundancy1 RU rack-mountable chassis with included mounting brackets
