Designed to route up to eight analog mic or line signals through the PATCH series ecosystem or beyond, the Flock Audio CX is a level adjuster, booster, and preamp module with eight XLR-1/4" combo inputs and one 8-channel DB25 output. By using the CX standalone app or PATCH app, you can independently control routing and processing for each channel in live or studio environments.With no digital conversion anywhere in the signal path your distributed and/or processed analog signals remain 100% transparent with no latency, making this module (and the PATCH system) ideal for live audio setups. Each channel can have 48V phantom power assigned individually, with front-panel LEDs indicating which channels are assigned phantom power. The module includes a USB-B port for host control and a threaded, locking power input. With versatility in mind, the CX module can be easily placed on a desktop, the floor, or optionally rackmounted. The CX includes rack ears, an external power supply, an IEC power cable, a locking DC power cable, and a USB-B to USB-A cable.Why CX? The CX module is a mic/line-level adjuster/booster and preamp designed to work cohesively with the PATCH series analog routing systems, allowing any type of analog signal to be boosted and routed through the PATCH Series +4 dB line-level design for the cleanest and most transparent signal possible. The CX module can also be used outside of the PATCH Series as a dedicated preamp or signal booster using the optional CX Standalone Application.Universal Placement The CX module is a versatile design allowing users to place it on a desk, in a booth, on stage, or if you prefer, rackmounted with the Rack Ear Kit included with the CX.Supports PATCH App and PATCH App DX The CX module can easily be setup and used directly in the PATCH app software(s) for seamless integration of microphones, instruments, and more when routing through the Flock Audio PATCH series.CX Standalone App The CX module can be setup and used outside of the Flock Audio PATCH series ecosystem. Using The CX Standalone app, the CX hardware module can be used as a dedicated preamp or signal booster for live sound and other studio applications.
