With its dual included cable-free drive host and caddy system, as well as four USB 3.0 ports, you can wipe or copy 2.5" SAS, SATA, or USB drives at a theoretical maximum speed of 18GB per minute, making the Rapid Image 7020 X2 ideal for a range of applications in laboratories, educational facilities, and corporate headquarters.Any port can be assigned as the source port, and destinations can include USB drives, 2.5" drives, or large-scale networked storage via the Gigabit Ethernet port. With multiple imaging formats, numerous, simultaneous operating modes, and powerful internal computer hardware, you can tackle just about any hard drive-centric task with blistering speed and a convenient, malleable workflow.Supreme Multitasking The Rapid Image line products are industrial-scale hard disk duplicators designed to copy a master hard drive to up to 19 target hard drives at super-fast SATA-3 speeds, with a theoretical maximum speed of 18GB/minute. You can configure the Rapid Image 7020 X2 to copy multiple master hard drives simultaneously, with support for up to 10 simultaneous master drives. You can also perform several operations at the same time, including copying and sanitizing drives simultaneously with minimal speed degradation.Extreme Speed The Rapid Image X2 units come standard with a powerful Intel i7 CPU and are designed to support today's high performance drives as well as future hard drive speed improvements using 6Gb/s SAS controller technology.Multiple Interface Ports In addition to the native SATA / SAS ports, the unit is also designed with four USB 3.0 ports and one Gigabit Ethernet connection that allow duplication of USB devices and storing image files externally. One Firewire connection and one FAST SCSI connection are available with the purchase of the Optional Expansion box.Modes of Operation The Rapid Image 7020 X2 supports Single Copy Mode, Multiple Operational Modes, Hashing and Data verification, Wiping/Sanitizing, and Secure Erase. This allows it to handle a variety of tasks in laboratories, criminal justice facilities, education institutions, corporate offices, and more.Multiple Imaging Formats IQ Copy: Used to copy only allocated data of source drives configured with Windows-based OS and file systems, greatly reducing the time required to copy data. IQ Copy supports partition scaling.Percent of Copy: Used to copy a source drive's allocated data and unallocated data, creating a mirror image of the source drive.MultiMASSter: Supports storing one or multiple source drive images on a single target drive using the segmented file format. This format copies both allocated and unallocated data.VHD Capture: Supports storing one or multiple source drive images on a single target drive using the VHD file format. This format copies only allocated data.WipeOut: Sanitize drives utilizing the DoD Standard, Secure Erase, or User Defined Methods. The unit has the ability to copy and wipe hidden HPA or DCO areas which may exist on hard drives.External Storage Images can be stored externally using a shared network folder or USB drives. In the case of networked storage, users can take advantage of large storage platforms (SAN) for the purpose of processing and archiving disk images.Powerful OS The Rapid Image 7020 X2 runs on a Windows 10-based operating system, providing flexibility and device compatibility support. And with an Intel i7 CPU, 4GB of RAM, and an 8" color touchscreen, this unit is well equipped to perform at the highest level with ergonomic convenience.On-the-Fly Drive Image Encryption and Decryption Utilizing the built-in AES 256 encryption technology the Rapid Image IT encrypts all digital data during the cloning process for the purpose of safeguarding sensitive information. The Rapid Image X2 IT creates a secure key with a user-chosen pass phrase. An AES 256 encryption key is the
