Description
Add the sound processing capabilities of a classic filter with the black Tiptop Audio Forbidden Planet, an impressive multimode analog filter based on the 1975 Steiner-Parker Synthacon synthesizer. Control the Forbidden Planet manually or through CV and take the sound of your Eurorack into new orbits.Forbidden Planet features three filter input jacks for High-Pass, Low-Pass, and Band-Pass modes. There are two CV inputs (one with attenuverter) for filter cutoff. The resonance circuit can self-oscillate and employs a design that can sound smooth or aggressive depending on the knob settings. The module ships with a ribbon power cable. At a Glance Analog multimode filter based on the 1975 Steiner-Parker Synthacon synthesizerThree filter inputsHigh-pass: a crisp sharp-cut with no residueLow-pass: airy classic 12 dB two-pole analog slope ideal for monophonic synth patches and filtering down to the essential low-end bassBandpass: Clear and useful for isolating a pie-slice-range-of-frequencies while cutting off the low and highs.
