This normally closed footswitch pedal is made specifically to meet the requirements of keyboard and recording gear manufacturers, such as Roland and Yamaha, that configure their keyboard products to sustain or switch patches, and set their recorders to punch-in and out, when the foot switch breaks, rather than makes a connection. This pedal meets the specification for any product with a normally closed switching setup.
