This compact, lightweight, and easy to use device features a TruArc Global Needle that is calibrated to work worldwide. It has a strong permanent rare earth magnet that will not be affected by nearby metal structures. Its Azimuth is marked in degrees and MRAD, and the base has metric scales. The compass also features a clinometer system, a bubble level, and a fine scale readout magnifier. Use the integrated magnifying lens to help you read the small print on maps and charts. The polycarbonate housing is lightweight and offers water resistance.
