Use the front-facing DIP switches to enable different modes.Performance The GS1005P has a 10 Gb/s switching capacity with a 7.44 Mpps forwarding rate with a 3Mb packet buffer.Extend Mode Use the DIP switches to configure ports 1 to 4 in extend mode, which allows you to transfer power and data at 10 Gb/s speeds across 820' cables.VLAN Mode Designate ports 1 to 4 to be isolated from each other and only transmit data with the uplink port.PoE Auto Recovery Watchdog is enabled under VLAN and Extend modes.
