The GoTough Silicone Mount from FotodioX is designed to be used with a GoPro HERO or HERO5 Session camera (available separately). It is a silicone sleeve that surrounds the camera and firmly holds the pre-installed UV filter in front of the lens.The included UV filter blocks or absorbs ultraviolet (UV) light and is used to reduce the level of ultraviolet light to reduce the bluish cast of daylight that strikes the recording medium. This UV filter can also be used as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. It helps reduce dust and moisture from reaching your front lens element and provides additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.
