The D-Tap to Canon LP-E8 Dummy Battery Adapter Cable from GyroVu is a straight 30" cable with a male D-Tap connector on one end and an LP-E8 dummy battery on the other end. It is designed to power any device that uses LP-E8 batteries from a larger battery or battery mount that offers a female D-Tap port for connectivity. It accepts 10 to 24V input voltage and provides a stabilized 8V output. A built-in emulator chip informs about battery status on compatible camera indicators.
