Block additional stray light from entering your 105mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro lens with the Sigma Lens Hood Adapter which extends the length of your lens hood, providing additional shading when used with digital cameras with an APS-C size image sensor. The lens hood adapter also provides additional protection to the camera and lens from accidental impact, bumps, and scratching.
