Alpine Astronomical

Easily connect your Hyperion 68 eyepiece to their 2" DSLR filter with the Alpine Astronomical Baader Hyperion 54-to-43mm DT-Ring for afocal and eyepiece projection astrophotography techniques. This version has SP54mm female threads to match the male threads under the eyepiece eyecup, with male M43mm threads that will fit onto your camera lens' filter thread. Connecting the two pieces of gear eyepiece and camera with this adapter makes a strong and secure fit, without tilt, for better performance. This kind of photography works best with telephoto lenses, rather than wide-angle lenses, and if the camera lens is smaller than the lens of the eyepiece.
