Countryman

The black I2 Bass and Cello Microphone Kit with 3-Pin XLR Connector for Select 3-Pin XLR Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been built from the ground up for smooth frequency response, low noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls and natural on- and off-axis response. It can be used to capture natural audio for this instrument. The I2 microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and captures detail for quieter instruments. Flexible close miking techniques are aided by the bass and cello mount, which sits securely behind the bridge with a positioning arm for placement. In addition, the 5' cable is hardwired to the mic and terminates with a 3-Pin XLR connector for direct connection to Select 3-Pin XLR wireless bodypack transmitters.Unparalleled Precision The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.Complete Control Flexible close miking techniques are aided by the instrument mounts, which position securely and gently on the instrument for capturing audio.Effortless Possibilities Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning and consistent patterns.Polar Pattern A microphone with a figure-8 (bidirectional) pickup pattern is sensitive to sound coming from the front and coming from the rear, but has a very high rejection for sound coming from the sides. Great for mid/side and Blumlein stereo applications.
