IK Multimedia

Available for download, IK Multimedia London Grooves provides many drum parts and sounds for the SampleTank virtual instrument. In total, the software offers 1500 high-quality WAV samples, alongside 1200 mix-ready drum stems and 300 stereo grooves. All material was recorded in legendary London studios: The Pool, and Narcissus Studios, both of which boast live rooms chockfull of character. To distinguish this collection from other, more standard-sounding fare, IK Multimedia dove deep into the creation process to ensure genuinely felt performances from each of the drummers hired for these sessions. Drums were recorded with a mixture of vintage and modern selections, from the shells and cymbals to the microphones and outboard gear. The collection was overseen by Grammy-winning engineer Cameron Craig and Filippo Gaetani. You'll find over 6GB of content, over 1500 audio files, and over 70 loop instruments. To manipulate these samples in the intended manner, you must have a working edition of SampleTank 3 or later. Otherwise, 44.1 kHz / 24-bit WAV files can be dragged and dropped into your DAW or compatible sequencer for manual chopping and splicing.
