Roland

Delivering distinctive acoustic aesthetics with digital precision and convenience, the Roland KD-18 is an 18" electronic kick drum with a full-depth wood shell and a sensor system built directly into the acoustic drum head. With authentic acoustic-style look, feel, and rebound, this kick drum is an excellent choice for a natural playing experience. The KD-18 shares the same core design as the larger KD-22, but with a size that can fit more easily into tight spaces. The enlarged trigger area can easily support double-kick pedals and short beater settings. The lifter is adjustable, as are the telescoping legs, which feature adjustment indicators and a newly designed rubber foot and nut design. The KD-18 sports custom chrome lugs, claws, and spurs for a stylish look. The KD-18 includes an adhesive kick drum patch, an antislip sheet, a 1/4" TRS connection cable, and a drum key for tension adjustment. The Core of Your Kit or Your Next Expansion The KD-18 acts as either a solid, medium-sized core of your new custom e-drum kit, or an expansion of your existing V-Drums kit. It shares the same core design as the KD-22, which comes standard with the VAD716 V-Drums Acoustic Design kit, and the attractive black finish matches the PD-10X and PD-12X V-Pads. With a 1/4" TRS output connection, the KD-18 will work with just about any drum module that accepts 1/4" TRS kick trigger input.Further Features Included KDP-5 self-adhesive patch reduces wear and supports platic, felt, and wood beatersInnovative head-mounted sensor improves acoustic feel and reboundFull depth for an acoustic-like playing experience, but reduced 18" diameter for smaller spacesAdjustable pedal mounting plate Improved pad durability over previous designs
