This Petal-Type Lens Hood from Sigma is a dedicated replacement hood for the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN lens. It is shaped like a petal for increased coverage, blocking stray light to help prevent optical problems such as flares or ghosting. It also serves as a barrier for the front element of the lens, keeping it protected in case of accidental drops or bumps.
