The Letus35 Ultimate Adapter for AG-HVX200 is a lens adapter kit that allows PL-mount cinema lenses to be used on the Panasonic AG-HVX200 camcorder. This gives your camera the ability to achieve the rich colors and shallow depth of field afforded by pro cinema lenses. The Ultimate offers the highest quality and best features from Letus35 and allows the user to work with an upright image. This kit features an AG-HVX200 lens ring, PL lens mount, and is optimized for the V2 rod system.Shallow Depth of Field Shallow depth of field is a very powerful tool for telling a story and getting specific details across. Many feature films use this tool, yet video cameras with small CCDs cannot produce this optical effect.Technology This adapter involves the concept of using a 35mm cinema lens (PL mount) to project an image onto a translucent piece of moving glass; the projected image is then focused on by the DV or HDV camera lens and recorded.Quality Letus35's concentration is on sharp focus, aberration, grain, barrel distortion, audible noise, vibrations and weight, making their adapters an excellent optical accessory.IOC Technology The image is read upright for using IOC technology and only loses 1/2 stop of light sensitivity.AG-HVX200 Adapter Ring This kit comes with an adapter ring for use with Panasonic AG-HVX200 camcorders.Ultimate Series Upgrades The Ultimate Series is a step-up from the Elite series and offers these features:Smart Spinning Ground GlassX/Y AdjustmentVariable RPM motor with LED DisplayFull Stop Down Ability on a 35mm LensExternal Power Option
