The T-Stop Evaluation System from Lindsey Optics provides accurate T-stop measurements of your lenses after they have been serviced or when converting an f/stop lens to cine-style T-stop use. The T-stops are displayed directly on the built-in screen, eliminating the need to convert the T-stops from exposure values. This ARRI LPL-mount system can also be used with the included PL-mount adapter and other lens adapters.Accurate T-Stop Evaluation The extremely accurate T-Stop Evaluation System displays stops in 1/6 increments from T1 to T22 with an option to display EV (exposure value) and lux (illumination). This tool provides 0.1 resolution in T-stops and exposure values with +/- 0.05 accuracy.Applications Use this system to validate aperture markings after lens maintenance or to convert f/stop values on rehoused lenses into T-stops for cine-style use.LED Light Source The superbright LED light reflects multiple times off the interior of the sphere, producing a highly uniform, stable light source measuring 5500 lux at T1. Use the counterweighted design and manual adjustment to secure the sphere at the desired height.Adaptable ARRI LPL Mount This native ARRI LPL-mount system includes an ARRI PL adapter and can be used with other lens mount adapters. The entire lens interface can also be swapped out with RED MONSTRO lens mounts via the four-screw mount, and a Panavision SP70 lens mount is available separately. The mount is compatible with lenses up to 26.5" in length, with longer options available on request.Acquisition Software The included Acquisition software lets you connect your computer (Windows only) to the evaluator via its USB port. This software rapidly collects the marked T-stop data values from evaluated lenses, working from closed to open and then open to closed. The difference between these measured values will then show any lost motion in the iris mechanism. Export this data to your computer in a .CSV spreadsheet.Compact Design Designed for vertical use, this measurement system has a compact base, conserving space on your workbench.
