Description
The Lynx Studio Technology Aurora(n) LYN-AN16M24D16A-USB is preconfigured with 16 analog ins and 16 analog outs on four DB-25 connectors, plus the LM-A24 analog module that not only provides two line-level analog inputs and four line-level analog outputs, but also brings an additional two channels of A/D conversion and four channels of D/A conversion. This configuration also features the LM-DIG and DB-ADAT modules, providing 16 channels of digital I/O on both AES and ADAT connectors. It is also equipped with a Lynx LT-TB3 two-port Thunderbolt 3 LSlot interface card that provides plenty of extra bandwidth for the demands of multiple channels of audio, even at the highest sample rates. The Aurora(n) LYN-AN16M24D16A-USB is a mastering-grade, 18-in / 20-out AD/DA converter, which supports up to 24-bit / 192 kHz conversion. Design and technology borrowed from the development of Hilo converters is used to significantly improve specifications and transparency over previous models, while attaining stunning Hilo-like performance. Ideal for audio engineers and producers who demand the most pristine recordings and mixes, the Aurora(n) delivers coloration- and degradation-free signal for mission-critical audio applications in studios, mastering facilities, remote recordings, and broadcast and live performance facilities. The unit features an onboard microSD player/recorder capable of up to 32 channels of direct recording and playback, ideal when working in the field. Two headphone outputs with independent volume controls let you monitor your sound with audiophile-grade precision, while a bright TFT LCD display gives you immediate access to all levels and functions right from the front panel.Preinstalled LM-A24 Analog Module The LM-A24 is a two-input, four-output line-level module for the Aurora(n) platform, offering TRS connectivity and precise level control for monitor outputs.Designed to match the transparent performance of other Aurora(n) modules, it provides +24 dBu I/O levels for compatibility with pro studio gear.Ideal for setups requiring a small number of dedicated I/Os without a breakout cable, the LM-A24 excels at driving powered monitors, and supports speaker protection via anti-pop relays and a low-distortion analog attenuator.Preinstalled LM-DIG and DB-ADAT for 16 Channels of Digital I/O The included LM-DIG module provides 16 channels in and 16 channels out of 24-bit AES/EBU, with bit-perfect transmission at sample rates of up to 192 kHz.AES/EBU (a world standard for digital interfacing) and the addition of the LM-DIG to the Aurora(n) means that studios and engineers can quickly and easily integrate its superior audio quality and precise conversion/routing tools with almost any professional-quality recording system, control surface, or other tools that use the AES/EBU standard. In addition, this version of the Aurora(n) features the DB-ADAT add-on module for the LM-DIG, providing an additional 16 channels of digital I/O via ADAT and S/PDIF connectivity.Preinstalled Lynx LT-USB USB-B LSlot Interface Card The LT-USB card provides digital input and output to Windows and Mac computers using USB 2.0 ports. The LT-USB allows up to 16 input and output channels at up to 96 kHz, and 8 channels at 192 kHz.Discrete Converter Array The analog signal path for each channel has been designed as a self-contained and shielded circuit. Each channel pair has its own dedicated conversion device. This offers many sonic advantages like significantly reducing crosstalk and distortion, while increasing dynamic range and performance.SynchroLock 2 Sample-Clock Technology Proprietary, SynchroLock 2 high-performance sample-clock technology provides a whopping 300,000:1 reduction in jitter, 5-second lock time, and absolute accuracy.Wordclock I/O provides one input and one output on BNC connectors.Futureproof LSlot Design Add Channels:Start with eight, sixteen, or twenty-four channels, and later add additional groups of eight cha
