The Tamron 3MP CS-Mount 2.7-13mm Lens is designed to achieve high fidelity image capture across the low-light to near-IR spectrum with 3 megapixel surveillance cameras. The lens features a fast f/1.4 aperture that enables it to capture accurate images in both daytime and nighttime (if the camera is low-light capable), up until IR illumination takes over. And it's designed with aspherical and low-dispersion glass elements that allow for high fidelity. Furthermore, other advanced aspects of the optics ensure reduced motion blur by eliminating chromatic aberration, and an anti-reflection multi-coating provides for flare-free and ghost-free imaging.
