Ideal for classroom settings, the Monocular Cordless LED Microscope from Swift is a durable and cost-effective solution for most student needs. Tamper and theft resistant, it has locked-on parts and a slip clutch to prevent gear damage from overfocusing. The rotating nosepiece has three parfocal, parcentered, and color-coded achromat objectives. Low position coarse and fine focusing controls move the focusing stage up and down so the eyepiece and body remain in a fixed position. Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift, and a safety rack stop prevents damage to sample and objective lenses.The microscope has a rechargeable AA battery pack that provides up to 50 hours of cordless LED illumination per charge.
