The Telefunken M61 Omni Tri-Mono Set features three matched M60 FET condenser microphone amplifiers and three matched TK61 omnidirectional capsules. This three-microphone set is capable of matched stereo and Decca-tree recording configurations. In combination with additional matched pairs, the configuration is ideal for multi-channel immersive audio capture. Its unique circuit topology produces an exceptional transient response and SPL handling capabilities.The M60 is hand-assembled in Telefunken's US facility using premium components.Three Matched TK61 Omnidirectional Capsules The three matched TK61 capsules utilize a 6-micron gold-sputtered membrane measuring 15mm in diameter.They exhibit omnidirectional polar patterns.Three SD40 Diffusion Spheres The SD40 diffuse-field spheres offer the most organic way to reduce the loss of high frequencies and to minimize the reverberant information.The spheres attach to the capsule ends of the microphones.The result is a gradual and smooth rise in upper midrange and high-frequency information captured by the microphones.
