Part of a two-piece system, the Alpine Astronomical Baader M68/S68 Dovetail Quick Changer Clamp allows fast installation and removal of gear without having to screw/unscrew pieces together, which saves time and hassle without the risk of cross-threading components. The quick-coupling design screws on female M68 threads and uses a circular dovetail-type system to allow the optional M68/S68 Quick Change Ring to sit into the clamp and secures in place with a simple thumbscrew. This is an ideal mounting system for Baader Solar Spectrum H-alpha filters and long distance projection when used with the Baader Flat Field fluorite Converter (FFC).
