Mojave Audio

The MA-1000 Signature Series Multi-Pattern Tube Microphone from Mojave Audio draws inspiration from some of yesterday's most revered microphones. It can be used to capture audio in several environments for applications such as vocals, voice-overs, broadcast TV, piano, orchestral recordings, and more.Technical Grammy Award-winning designer David Royer has created a modern tube microphone that features an original NOS 5840 tube, a 251-style capsule, and a custom-designed transformer built by Coast Magnetics. The result is a sweet and airy, top-end sounding, "you-are-there" realism in the midrange, and an accurate yet authoritative bottom end.Furthermore, the tube microphone can be remotely controlled and has a continuously variable polar-pattern selector on the power supply. Some other features include: Switchable 15 db pad, bass roll-off; internal switchable power supply; Mogami cables and Neutrik connectors. Finally, the microphone comes with a carrying case, power supply, shockmount and cables.Remote Control Remotely controlled, continuously variable polar-pattern selector located on power supplyFrequency Response 25 Hz to 20 kHz frequency responseRecommended Applications Vocals and voice-overs Broadcast Acoustic instruments Piano Drum overheads and drum rooms Orchestral recording Choral recording
