The MA-37 Multi-Pattern Large-Diaphragm Tube Condenser Microphone from Mojave is a modern recreation of the venerable Sony C-37a, a studio workhorse mic popular in Hollywood studios from the 1960's, including Capital Records and Sunset Sound. Designed by David Royer, the MA-37 keeps the same single-diaphragm design from the original and employs an EF86 tube and Lundahl transformer to give the mic it's characteristically warm, natural sound.
