This 2 RU Middle Things Fiber Unite 10 12G is a bidirectional device that merges 10 pairs of 4K SDI IN / SDI Out signals and a LAN connection into one single 12-channel MTP 12 fiber cable. Multichannel fiber optic cable is lighter and more flexible than traditional copper cables, not to mention that one fiber cable can carry 10 signals, which makes for fewer cable runs. The bidirectional nature of this device allows you to use it to merge 10 in/out pairs or split 10 pairs opticalCON MTP 12 fiber cable input. The connector has a built-in automatic shutter that protects the 12 fiber cores as soon as the cable is disconnected.
