Ideal for voiceover artists, audiobook recording, and content creation, the Audiosigma MikeHero is a compact and portable audio interface featuring a single XLR mic input and a selector switch for optimal compatibility with virtually every mic type from quiet dynamics, to sensitive and power hungry condensers, to shotgun mics. With the ability to be powered entirely by smart devices, this interface is truly an on-the-go recording device.Even when powered by smart devices like iPhones and Android smartphones, the MikeHero can deliver steady 48V phantom power for active microphones. Controls include mic gain, headphone volume, and mute button, as well as special switches for EQ settings and an 80 or 120 Hz high-pass filter for taming plosives. Along with the mic input, the MikeHero sports 3.5mm connections for the aux input, mic output, and two headphone outputs, as well as an optional DC input (which is rarely needed when bus power is available via the USB-C port).Clean and Versatile Mic Preamp The low-noise microphone preamplifier assures excellent noise floor performance. With the MikeHero, you don't have to worry about hissing or humming, it consistently delivers clean sound. The preamp can provide up to 70.5 dB of clean gain for mics, and with the Dynamic/Condenser switch, you can adjust the preamp circuit for each mic type, letting you handle everything from the quietest dynamic (Shure SM7B) to the loudest condenser (Audio-Technica AT-875R).Keep it Clean The MikeHero features integrated functions for cleaning up audio without any extensive postproduction. Two-level EQ control is provided, with level 1 offering boost/cut of 6 dB and level 2 providing boost/cut control of 9 dB. The interface also includes a high-pass filter, which normally sits fixed at 32 Hz, but can be switched to provide either 80 or 120 Hz HPF duties, helping you to tame plosives like Ps and Ts.Stay Mobile MikeHero allows you to record and broadcast using just your smartphone.
