Equipment lines that lead outside the building are pathways for surges (sometimes called backdoor surges) to enter the equipment. This MOD-SPKP Speakers/Keypads/CCTV Power Lines Outdoor Protection Module is designed to protect outdoor speakers, keypads, control, and security wires. It supports eight wires or four pairs of speaker wire. The screw wire terminals provide a secure attachment method that is not connector specific. The device supports 112W per channel which aligns with 8 Ohm speakers.
