This Schoeps ORTF Stereo Microphone Amplifier with Matched MK 4 Capsules consists of a T-shaped two-channel microphone amplifier, that accepts two included paired MK 4 cardioid capsules. They are arranged at a distance of 6.7" at an angle of 110 to each other, as required for the ORTF method. In addition, the mic placement is relatively unimportant, making it suitable for the rather inexperienced user. Set-up is quick and easy, because only a single stand and cable are required, and the capsule distance and the offset angle of the capsules to each other don't need be adjusted.
