The NE-1 Noise Eater from Roland is a small sound isolation foot designed to be used with a kick pad and hi-hat stand in a V-Drums set, along with the companion NE-10 Noise Eater (sold separately). Electronic drums can be played without external sound using a pair of headphones, but the act of pressing a pedal can still cause unwanted disturbance. Placing the unique rubber dampers under each leg of a kick pad and hi-hat stand dramatically reduces the transfer of noises and vibrations through the floor.
