The Eaton Cybersecure Gigabit Network-M3 Card for UPS and PDU provides reliable network connectivity and high performance in your enterprise-level servers or personal workstations. Installation in your compatible host UPS or PDU is easy thanks to the PCIe interface, and once connected you have access to a miniUSB port, a USB-A port, and a 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet port.The USB ports are meant for accessories, configuration, or monitoring, which requires a compatible monitoring software such as Eaton's Environmental Monitoring Gen 2. This Network Card uses a zero-trust architecture to minimize cybersecurity vulnerabilities through hardware root of trust. Additionally, with zero-touch provisioning, network cards are automatically configured, which saves time in large-scale deployments. Security is further bolstered with the inclusion of a user-configurable firewall, reducing susceptible areas while also boosting security compliance. M2M interactions are streamlined and automated with the assistance of REST API, which allows organizations to easily integrate the network card with native systems.
